- Volunteer Assistant Coach
Kevin Keiner enters his first season as a Volunteer AssistantCoach for the USC Upstate men’s and women’s tennisteams.
Keiner is responsible for constructing and carrying outpractice, logging weekly practice hours, assisting in practice,aiding in strength and conditioning programs and providing on courttechnical analysis and instruction.
A member of the Bradley University tennis team from 2010-13,Keiner played an instrumental role in helping the Braves compile atotal of 43 wins during that span to set a school record for themost wins during a three-year period. Keiner played the No. 4, 5and 6 singles positions for the Braves and finished his career witha 30-26 overall singles record and a 16-12 mark in doubles action.In addition, Keiner tallied wins over individuals competing for top5 nationally ranked teams.
A native of Las Vegas, N.M, Keiner was a four-year varsityletterwinner at Robertson High School and graduated in thetop 10 of his class. He helped the Cardinals to the 2006 and 2007New Mexico AAA state championship and was runner-up during the 2009state tournament. Keiner was also part of a doubles team that wasdistrict runner-up in 2009.
Keiner graduated from Bradley in May 2013 with a bachelor ofscience in criminal justice.
