CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – USC Upstate Senior Ramiro Blanco advanced to Sunday's Round of 16 with a three-set victory over Amogh Prabhakar at the University of North Carolina's Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

Prabhaker (Wake Forest) claimed the first set by a score of 6-3; however, Blanco rallied for the win after taking sets two and three by scores of 6-1 and 6-0, respectively.

On Sunday, Blanco will have a chance to move into the Elite Eight when he faces the winner of Chris Mengel (Duke) / Chip Cox (South Carolina). 

With a victory over Mengel or Cox, Blanco would battle either Orcun Seyrek (UNC Greensboro) or Fred Saba (Duke) Sunday afternoon for a spot in Monday's Semifinal.
