ELON, N.C. – The Spartan duo of Hannah Al-Sakati and Julie Bell fell in Sunday's A-2 Doubles Final at the Elon Fall Invitational.
Al-Sakati and Bell fell to Frida Jansaker and Bryn Khoury (Elon) by a score of 8-2. In the B-1 Doubles consolation bracket, Maria Tonani and Ana-Sofia Camberos claimed victory with an 8-5 victory over UNC Asheville's Amryn Soldier and Jenna Dodge.
Bell fell to Cameron Chatman (North Carolina Central) in the consolation final of A-2 singles by a score of 7-5, 6-2.
The USC Upstate women's tennis team will return to the courts on Thursday, October 20th, at the ITA Regionals in Chapel Hill, N.C.
