DAVIDSON, N.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team, competing in the second of three matches this week, fell to the Davidson Wildcats, 7-0, at the Knobloch Tennis Center.

Ana-Sofia Camberos claimed victory in the first set (6-4) but fell 4-6, 6-10 in the final two sets as Wildcat Alison Rauh rallied for the win at singles number two.

In singles number one Karen Martinez battled but fell in straight sets 5-7, 1-6, as Stephani Synn claimed victory.

Davidson (4-6) claimed the doubles point after winning all three matches.

The Spartans (0-5) will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Orangeburg, S.C., for a 1:00 p.m. match against S.C. State
