SPARTANBURG, S.C. – On Saturday afternoon, the USC Upstate women's team fell to ETSU, 6-1, at the Upstate Tennis Complex.

Ana-Sofia Camberos and Paula Jaime had a thrilling match at singles number two.  After Camberos claimed the first set, 6-3, Jaime rallied for a 7-5 win in the second set.  Camberos was able to claim a 10-8 victory in the tie breaker to pick up the singles victory.

Karen Martinez dropped her first set (6-0) and her rally in the second set came up short as she fell by a score of 6-4.

Upstate will return to action on Wednesday when they host West Virginia at 2:00 p.m.
