BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Competing in the final tennis match of the 2011 season, the USC Upstate women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision on Friday afternoon to the Campbell Camels at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell picked up the doubles point by sweeping all three matches from the visiting Spartans.

In singles action, Talia Rojas picked up the Spartans lone point after up-ending Campbell's Heather Robinson in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, at singles number four.

Maria Tonani and Ana-Sofia Camberos both battled at singles one and three, respectively, but ultimately fell in straight sets.
