SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Talia Rojas won a pair of singles matches on Saturday and sits just two singles victories shy of claiming the women's singles title at the USC Upstate Fall Classic.
Rojas claimed a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Christina Limantoro of Presbyterian College in her first match on Saturday. Rojas returned to the courts later in the day and moved into the final four with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 win over Wofford's Julia Paulson.
The women's duo of Rojas and Isabel von Stryk kept alive their hopes for a women's double championship with a thrilling 9-8 win over Wofford's Audrey Coventry and Sarah Evans.
