CONWAY, S.C. – Facing their second Big South Conference opponent of the young season, the USC Upstate women's tennis team (1-1) fell on the road at Coastal Carolina (2-0) Saturday at the Billy Nichols Tennis Center.
The Chanticleers won all three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
Isabel von Stryk, Hannah Al-Sakati and Ana-Sofia Camberos all battled to the end in their respective matches, but Coastal Carolina claimed Saturday's match, 7-0.
The Spartans will return to action Wednesday afternoon when they host Anderson University at 2 p.m.
