Women's Tennis Falls at North Florida, 6-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team fell to North Florida in the conference opener for both teams Friday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex.

UNF swept through the doubles matches to take the early 1-0 lead.

All six singles matches were determined in straight sets with Talia Rojas picking up the only win for the Spartans.  Rojas defeated Melanie Augirre, 6-1, 6-4, at singles no. 3.

Upstate will return to action tomorrow as the team closes out the two-game swing with a conference match at Jacksonville.
