HAMMOND, La. – Three different Spartans rallied to force a third set in their respective singles matches but were unable to complete the comeback as Southeastern Louisiana claimed a 6-1 victory Monday evening.

Isabel von Stryk and Talia Rojas claimed a 8-6 victory at doubles No. 1, but the Lions won the other two match-ups as they claimed the doubles point.

USC Upstate's Maria Tonani was the only Spartan to claim a singles win Monday.  Tonani claimed the first set, 6-4, before Isabel Brito rallied to take sets two (6-2) and three (10-8).

The Spartans will close out the three-match tour of Louisiana tomorrow at Nicholls State.
