Davidson, N.C. - The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 7-0 at Davidson on Saturday at the Davidson Tennis Courts.

Davidson improves to 2-2 while Upstate drops to 0-4.

Anna Zoske and Filippa Ericson won their number one doubles match, defeating Elaina Cummer and Sarah Stein 6-3. Davidson claimed the doubles point with a 6-2 victory at the number two court and a 6-1 win on the number three court.

Ericson took her number two position singles match to a third set but lost 6-2, 2-6, 1-0.

The Spartans open the home portion of the 2016 schedule on Tuesday against Presbyterian at 3 p.m.
