Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 6-1 to Presbyterian on Tuesday afternoon at the USC Upstate Tennis Complex.

Presbyterian improves to 10-10 while Upstate drops to 0-16.

Vale Zarama and Carol Sigaki claimed a 6-4 win at number one doubles but the Blue Hose clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at number two doubles and a 6-0 victory at number three doubles.

Anna Zoske claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win over Celine Schepers at number one singles.

Upstate returns to Atlantic Sun Conference play on Saturday, traveling to Florida Gulf Coast for a 2 p.m. match.
