Charleston, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Charleston Southern in non-conference action on Wednesday at Buccaneer Tennis Complex.

Charleston Southern improves to 6-0 while Upstate falls to 0-12.

The Buccaneers won the doubles point thanks to a pair of 6-0 wins at the number one and number three positions. CSU clinched the match after winning the number five singles court and closed out the match with a 6-1, 7-6 victory at number one singles.

Upstate returns to action on Friday, traveling to Coastal Carolina for an 11 a.m. match.
