Newark, N.J. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost their regular season finale 7-0 to NJIT on Saturday at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreation Facility.
NJIT improves to 5-14 overall and 1-5 in the Atlantic Sun while Upstate concludes its season at 0-21 and 0-6.
NJIT won the doubles point following a pair of 6-2 wins at number two and number three doubles. The Highlanders clinched the match following a 6-3, 6-3 win at number three singles and won the final three singles matches to close out the match.
