Nashville, Tenn. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 4-1 to Lipscomb on Thursday at Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.
Lipscomb improves to 11-6 overall and 1-3 in the A-Sun while Upstate drops to 0-18 and 0-4.
The Lady Bisons claimed the doubles point after a 6-1 win at the number one position and a 6-2 win at the number three position. Carol Sigaki and Vale Zarama were 6-3 winners over Danielle Kinnen and Hannah Gamage.
Anna Zoske defeated Gamage 6-3, 6-3 at number one singles for her sixth win of the year playing at the top singles spot.
Upstate returns home on Saturday against Kennesaw State at 10 a.m. Zoske will be honored during the match as part of Senior Day festivities.
