Spartanburg, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team continued play in the USC Upstate Fall Classic on Saturday with one victory in singles action.

Vale Zarama won her first match of the day in the Grey Singles bracket, defeating Brittany Nuttall of Presbyterian College 6-3, 6-1. Zarama lost to Carlotta Nassi of Queens 6-2, 4-6, 6-5 in the bracket semifinal.

The USC Upstate Fall Classic is scheduled to wrap up tomorrow with matches beginning at 10 a.m.
