Conway, S.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 7-0 in a non-conference match at Coastal Carolina on Saturday morning.

Coastal Carolina improves to 1-1 while Upstate drops to 0-3.

The Chanticleers claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles and would win all three doubles matches. Carol Sigaki dropped a hard-fought match in a tiebreaker at No. 2 singles, 4-6, 7-5, 10-7.

The Spartans remain on the road next week, traveling to Charlotte on Friday for a 2 p.m. match.
