Spartanburg, S.C. – Taylor Dodd and Noelia Acuna advanced to the finals in their respective singles flights as the USC Upstate women's tennis team wrapped up the Wofford Invitational on Saturday.

Dodd advanced to the finals in the College Singles flight after a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Virginia Tech's Fallon Delp and a 6-3, 6-1 triumph over Emma Perelman of Emory. Dodd was defeated in the final by Britt Wilbur of Wofford 6-2, 6-1.

In the White Singles flight, Acuna knocked off Sofia Shut'ko of Savannah State 6-4, 6-2 before claiming a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Western Carolina's Alexa Webb. Gardner-Webb's Miljana Ristic defeated Acuna 6-2, 7-6 (5) in the final.

Vale Zarama claimed third place in the consolation bracket of the Wofford Singles flight while Sarah Parker also finished third in the consolation bracket in the Conqueror Singles flight.

Acuna and Carol Sigaki won the consolation bracket in the Gold Doubles flight with a 7-6 (2) victory over Radford's Lotti Meszaros and Natalie Sayer.

Upstate concludes the fall portion of its schedule next weekend at the Furman Challenge.
