Spartans Fall at Western Carolina

Cullowhee, N.C. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team lost 6-1 at Western Carolina on Saturday afternoon at the Catamount Athletic Complex. 

Western Carolina is 3-3 overall while USC Upstate falls to 0-8. 

Western Carolina claimed the doubles point with wins in all three matches. 

Gabriela Cevallos won her third singles match of the year after defeating Savannah Taranto 6-4, 6-2 at #4 singles. At #3 singles, Vale Zarama dropped a hard-fought match 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-3).
