Series History
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between USC Upstate and Bob Jones. The Spartans lead the series 2-1 with their most recent matchup resulting in an Upstate loss back in 2015.

UPSTATE— The Spartans are coming off their first road victory of the season in a 73-70 win over S.C. State on Wednesday. Freshman guard Tommy Bruner stepped up big against S.C. State leading the team with 19 points and two rebounds. Burner also knocked down the crucial free throws at the end of the game to clinch the victory. Bryson Mozone added 15 points and three rebounds in the win. Mozone has now made five or more three-point attempts in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.
BOB JONES—The Bruins are coming off a 70-94 road loss against Gardner-Webb on Thursday night. Nate Ellenwood led the Bruins with 18 points and three rebounds, followed by 12 points and five rebounds from Jayson Barnhart.

UPSTATE—Everette Hammond leads the team with 13.1 points per game this season. Bryson Mozone is the Spartans sharpshooter averaging 41 percent from behind the arc, which ranks second in the Big South Conference. Mozone averages 2.6 three-point field goals per game, which ranks first in the Big South. Nevin Zink is the top rebounder on the team averaging 4.7 rebounds per game. Dalvin White leads the team averaging 4.5 assist, which ranks third in the Big South.
BOB JONES—Nate Ellenwood leads the Bruins in almost every category. Ellenwood is the team leader in points, rebounds, assist and steals with 16.3 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game, and 2.5 steals this season. Jayson Barnhart is second on the team with 11.9 points per game.
