Everette Hammond (27 points),
Tommy Bruner (19 points),
Josh Aldrich (12 points) and
Jatayveous Watson (4 points). Hammond was a rebound shy of recording his first career double-double and the first double-double for the Spartans this season.
Furman – The Paladins are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time all season. Furman fell to Auburn 81-78 (OT) on Thursday night and Noah Gurley led the offense with 21 points in the game.
Ones to watch
UPSTATE –
Everette Hammond has emerged as the Spartans go to player this season, averaging 12.8 points per contest and he also leads the team in steals (11) and blocks (3).
Dalvin White is currently first on the team in assists with 41 on the season and
Bryson Mozone is the leading scorer off the bench with 9 points per game.
Furman – Noah Gurley, Clay Mounce and Jordan Lyons are all averaging 14 points this season. Mike Bothwell is averaging 9.7 points per contest off the bench for the Paladins this season. Mounce leads the team in steals (26) and is tied for the team lead in blocks with 8.
