Series History
High Point leads the all-time series against Upstate 5-1, dating back to the first meeting between the two teams on Nov. 20, 1990. The Spartans snagged their lone win of the series in that game with a 90-61 road win. Since then, High Point has taken all five meetings in Upstate's DI era. Most recently, the Panthers left Spartanburg with an 81-45 win on Feb. 8 last season.

Ones to Watch
Upstate – Freshman McKinley Brooks-Sumpter leads the Spartans in scoring and ranks eighth in the conference with 14.2 points per game. She is averaging 7.4 rebounds per game, also good enough for eighth in the conference. Junior guard Denijsha Wilson is also averaging double-digits with 11 points per game. She is fifth in the conference in assists per game (3.3) and assist/turnover ratio (1.0). Marnicha Prudent leads the Spartans on the glass with 49 total rebounds. The junior is averaging 7.0 boards per game and most recently notched her second double-double of the season with a 16-point, 15-rebound effort at Winthrop on Dec. 18 to set a career-high in both categories.
High Point – Three Panthers are averaging double-digits this season, led by Skyler Curran with 18.6 points per game, which ranks third in the conference. She notched her second double-double of the season in the first game against UNC Asheville last Saturday with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Curran also leads the Panthers on the glass with 8.7 rebounds per game, ranking fifth in the conference. Jenson Edwards ranks right behind Curran on the team with 14.9 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game.
