Ones to Watch
Upstate – Freshman Jeremy Montero made his collegiate debut Wednesday against the Gamecocks and netted the lone Spartan goal in the contest. Goalkeeper Felipe Baeza had a strong night in net at South Carolina and recorded five saves in 96 minutes.
Radford – Goalkeeper Joseba Incera made three saves at Liberty on Wednesday and Baye Djibril Faye led the Highlanders with three shots in the contest.
UP Next for the Spartans
The Spartans host Furman University on Wednesday, Feb. 24. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from County University Soccer Stadium.
Home Game Attendance Information
Due to social distancing protocols for all outdoor venues at USC Upstate, attendance in the grandstands will be limited this spring. Fans are required to wear face coverings, and tailgate chairs are encouraged for fans to utilize the grass berms at Harley Baseball Park, Cyrill Softball Stadium and County-University Soccer Stadium. Spectators will be asked not to congregate in groups of six or more and maintain at least six feet from others on the grass areas.
