Series History
Friday's meeting in the crosstown rivalry between USC Upstate and Wofford marks the 10^th all-time meeting between the programs since Upstate made the move to NCAA Division I in 2007. Overall, the Terriers lead the series 7-1-1 but the Spartans did take the previous meeting in the series—a 2-1 victory at County University Soccer Stadium—on Sept. 18, 2019.

Ones to Watch
Upstate: Scoring in the 87^th minute of last Sunday's match at Appalachian State, sophomore midfielder Ashley Finn netted Upstate's lone goal against Division I competition this season and the third goal of her career. Through two matches she's taken six shots, four of which have landed on goal, making her one of the most accurate offensive players in the Big South this season.
 
Wofford: Netting both of Wofford's goals this year in the season opener against Longwood, Katie Gilligan enters Friday's match as Wofford's scoring leader. She also enters as the Terriers' leaders in minutes played and shots on goal.

Following the Labor Day holiday, Upstate continues its homestand, welcoming Davidson for a Thursday night contest at County University Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.
