Series History
USC Upstate and Western Carolina have gone back and forth in their overall series, with the Spartans trailing the Catamounts 8-7. Upstate lost 79-75 during the first match up between the two teams back in 1980. The Spartans will go into the game on a two-game winning streak against the Catamounts after they won 70-62 in 2019 and most recently won 58-51 in overtime in 2021.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Isabella Geraci has continued to be an early contender for USC Upstate. She leads the Spartans with 29 points, averaging 9.7 points a game, along with 20 rebounds, five assists, eight steals, and averaging 33.0 minutes a game. Geraci has started all three games alongside Tali Roldan, AC Markham, and Cali Levine.
Western Carolina: Junior, Mya Love, led the Catamounts during their game against the Blue Hose on Tuesday night. Love scored 23 points going 8-17 and 7-12 for free throws while recording five assists and two steals in her 32 minutes of play. Reagan Trumm and Audrey Meyers also posted double-digit points and Meyers had seven rebounds.

After hosting the Catamounts, the Spartans will head back out on the road to take on UNC Greensboro on Wednesday, November 23rd at 5:00 p.m.
