Track & Field Head to USC to Compete in the UofSC Outdoor Open

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Following its massive success cohosting and competing at the Newberry Hub City Relays, Upstate Track & Field gets ready to head to USC to take part in the UofSC Open on Saturday. Â
The men's team finished first at the Hub City Relays with 241 points, while the women's team also came out on top with 237 points. Tony Auguste (1), Anthony Carswell (4) and De'Quon Henderson (5) occupied three of the top-five finishers in the hammer throw. Logan Patete took first in the men's 1500m (3:59.44) while Channing Ferguson earned himself a first-place finish in the 110m hurdles (15.62). Jasmine Brown earned herself a first-place finish in the long jump (5.25m) as did the team of Bracie Vaughn, Angelnique Bryant, Jasmine Brown, Sharetha Odom in the 4x100m (47.00). Â
