Alexis Plaster Collects Big South Freshmen of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced the women's track and field athletes of the week this afternoon.

Following her performance at the Electric City Invite, Alexis Plaster was named the Women's Outdoor Track Freshman of the Week. Plaster ran the women's 5000m in a time of 18:00.43 to place third, marking a new personal best. Her time ranks third overall in the Big South and is the fastest among freshmen runners in the event so far this season. She is also eighth all-time in school history.
