Upstate Women's Basketball Remains at Home to Host the Highlanders on Wednesday Evening

Series History 
USC Upstate and Radford have a series dating back to 2008 when the Spartans fell 76-34 in Radford, Va. Most recently, Upstate broke a seven game losing streak as they downed Radford 66-55 at Radford in the 2021-2022. Upstate trails the overall series 8-2 and trails 4-1 when hosting the Highlanders.

Players to Watch 

Upstate: AC Markham had an impressive performance in the Big South Conference opener against Charleston Southern as she earned the first double-double of her career with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Isabella Gerci led the Spartans offense with her fifth game scoring double-figures (12) as well as eight rebounds and four assists. Rebekah Gordon leads the Spartans with 119 points on the season while Geracgi is just behind her with 116. Geraci leads Upstate with 13 made three pointers, 27 made free throws, 85 rebounds, 14 assists, 21 steals, and two blocks.  

Upstate has maintained a consistent line up the last five games with Isabella Geraci, Rebekah Gordon, Trinity Johnson, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham on the floor. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 12 contests so far for the Spartans.  

Radford: Ashlyn Traylor led the Highlanders against the Blue Hose, posting 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block. This was Traylor's second 20+ point game but her ninth game scoring in double-figures. Rachel LaLonde (15) and Vanessa Blake (13) also scored in double figures as well as LaLonde recording eight rebounds and Blake with seven.
