Women's Basketball Set to Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day With Home Game Against Campbell

Series History 
Upstate trails the series 10-4 overall, 4-3 at home, 6-1 on the road and 7-3 in conference action. The Spartans visited Buies Creek to play Campbell earlier this season and fell short with a 51-49 outcome.

Players to Watch 
Upstate: Markham led the Spartans charge against the Highlanders of Radford University with the eight points she posted. Rebekah Gordon also contributed seven points while Trinity Johnson contributed six to the Spartans' 39 points. Isabella Geraci led in rebounds with seven and led in steals with four.   

Upstate maintained the lineup of Isabella Geraci, Rebekah Gordon, Trinity Johnson, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 20 contests so far for the Spartans. Geraci leads the team for minutes played (642), three pointers (21), rebounds (150), and steals (33). Gordon helps lead the offense with 185 points, averaging 9.7 points per game and shooting .367% from the field.  

Campbell: Gianni Boone had her 13th game scoring in double-figures as she led the Fighting Camels to a 54-44 win over the Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. Boone posted 10 points, five rebounds, one assist, and a season-high four steals. Christabel Ezumah (9), Audrey Fuller (8), Brittany Staves (7), and Svenia Nurenberg (7) also contributed points towards the Camel's win. Fuller led in rebounds (8) and assists (5).
