SPARTANBURG, S.C. - After securing its third consecutive home win of the season, USC Upstate women's basketball invites schools from the Spartanburg area to the G.B. Hodge Center as it begins the week hosting the Spartans of UNC Greensboro at home on Monday before taking the trip to battle ACC competitor Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Trinity Johnson has been a key piece for the Upstate Spartans so far this year and most recently helped lead the team to its third consecutive home victory with a season-high 17 points. Johnson had her second game scoring 15+ points and her fourth game of the season scoring in double figures as well as had her ninth game of the season leading the Spartans in assists. As of 12/13/23, Johnson is ranked 24th nationally for assists (55) and 29th nationally for both assists per game (5.5) and free throw attempts (58).
UNC Greensboro: Jayde Gamble led the Spartans to a 66-55 victory on Thursday with 16 points accompanied by three rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals. Gamble sits atop UNCG's stats with averaging 11.7 points per game for a combined 129 points as well as 32 rebounds, 30 assists, 34 steals, and five blocks. The junior has been able to score in double figures in seven of the 11 contests she has played in including a season-high 25 points against ranked Virginia Tech. (11/20/23).
Georgia Tech: Kara Dunn led the Yellow Jackets to their 11-point victory over UGA on Saturday with 21 points following a season-high 39-point performance against Georgia State. Dunn was assisted on offense against UGA with 16 points from Rusne Augustinaite and 11 points from Kayla Blackshear and Tonie Morgan respectively. Morgan leads the team in scoring with 160 points, averaging 14.5 points per game just ahead of Dunn who averages 14.1 points per game.
