Series History
Meeting for the 10^th time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.)—each meeting in the series coming after Upstate joined the Big South in 2018-19—USC Upstate enters its game with High Point looking to even the series. The Panthers lead the series 5-4, but the Spartans have taken each of the last two meetings for their first winning streak in the series, earning a 76-57 victory at the G.B. Hodge Center on January 7.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Rounding out a quartet of double-figure scorers for the Spartans against Longwood with 11 points, redshirt sophomore guard Trae Broadnax secured his 12^th double-figure scoring game during Big South play, tying for the team lead. Adding to his scoring total, he pulled in a career-high-tying nine rebounds—his third career nine rebound game—as he neared a double-double. He enters Saturday's game averaging 10.6 points per game (11.5 in Big South play) while leading the team in rebounding, averaging 4.2 rebounds per game (4.8 in Big South play), and assists, dishing out 83 total (49 in Big South play).
 
High Point: Scoring a team-high 21 points to lift High Point over Presbyterian Wednesday, guard Jaden House notched his 10^th 20-plus point scoring game of the season and extending his streak of double-figure scoring games to five. He enters the weekend as the Panthers' leading scorer at 17.5 points per game while averaging 14.3 points per game during Big South play.
