Series History
USC Upstate and UNC Asheville are tied in the overall series 10-10, as well as on the road (5-5) and in conference play (4-4). At home, Upstate is 5-4 and has one loss to the Bulldogs at a neutral venue. The first time the Spartans clashed with the Bulldogs this season, Upstate earned its fourth Big South Conference win of the season with a 66-55 result.

Players to Watch
Upstate: Rebekah Gordon led the Spartans offense in scoring on Wednesday night as she recorded her seventh game this season scoring in double-figures with 15 points. Gordon was also one of five Spartans who recorded five or more rebounds (Gordon 7, Johnson 7, Roldan 6, Markham 5, Geraci 5).
Upstate maintained the lineup of Isabella Geraci, Rebekah Gordon, Trinity Johnson, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 21 contests so far for the Spartans. Geraci leads the team for minutes played (675), three pointers (21), rebounds (155), and steals (35). Gordon helps lead the offense with 200 points, averaging 10.0 points per game and shooting .367% from the field.
UNC Asheville: Jordaynia Ivie posted a season-high 19 points to help lead the Bulldogs to a 64-51 win over High Point on Wednesday night. McKinley Brooks-Sumpter also contributed 18 points to the Bulldogs' total. Abigail Wilson led the team in rebounds (9) while Mallory Bruce and Faith Adams were just behind her with seven apiece.

Up Next for the Spartans
The Spartans remain on the road to play Charleston Southern on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. Upstate will then take on Winthrop in back-to-back games with the first game being played Saturday, Feb. 11th in the G.B Hodge Center and the second being played Sunday, Feb. 12th in Rock Hill.
