After Their Third Straight Conference Win Saturday, the Spartans are Headed to Farmville to Battle the Lancers Wednesday Night

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - USC Upstate women's basketball extended its conference unbeaten streak to three after the Spartans held off the Bucs for a 59-58 finish in the G.B. Hodge Center. Upstate looks to keep its streak alive as it travels to Virginia to face off against the Longwood Lancers.

Players to Watch 
USC Upstate: Rebekah Gordon led the Spartans on offense for the fifth time this season as her 16 points helped lead Upstate to victory over Charleston Southern on Saturday. Gordon is second on the team for points with 149, averaging 9.3 points per game, just behind Isabell West who sits with 173 points, averaging 10.8 points per game. 12 of West's 172 points came during Saturday's game against CSU while Trinity Johnson also had her seventh game of the season scoring in double figures with 10 points.  

Longwood: Despite falling to the Highlanders by eight points, four Lancers scored double figures, including Kiki McIntyre, who led the team with 14 points. McIntyre has seen double digit points in three games this season with her most recent, prior to Radford, being against Charleston Southern (18). Janay Turner leads the Lancers on offense with 186 points, averaging 11.6 points per game, along with 30 rebounds, nine assists, and 18 steals.
