Spartans Set to Host Undefeated Conference Foe Radford Saturday Afternoon in the Hodge Center

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - USC Upstate women's basketball returns to the G.B. Hodge Center after falling for the first time this season in conference play as it fell to Longwood in the mid-week contest. The Spartans are set to host the Highlanders of Radford, who currently sit undefeated in conference play.

Players to Watch 
USC Upstate: In Wednesday's mid-week match up, the Spartans were led by three-point leader, Dakota Reeves, and assist leader, Trinity Johnson, both of which scored 12 points. Isabell West was just behind Reeves and Johnson with 11 points, bringing her to 184 points on the season. West leads the Spartans, averaging 10.8 points per game with Johnson and Rebekah Gordon averaging 9.0 points per game as well. In addition to leading the team in points, West leads the team in rebounds with 105 while AC Markham also has triple digit boards so far this season (100).  

Radford: In Radford's nine-point win over Gardner-Webb on Wednesday, Taniya Hanner and Ashlyn Traylor-Walker both scored 16 points to help the Highlanders go 4-0 in Big South play. Terissa Lavoile-Brice also had an exceptional showing as she earned her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Traylor-Walker leads the Highlanders with 299 points, averaging 16.6 points per game this season as well as 109 rebounds, 50 assists, 26 steals, and 12 blocks.
