Men's Basketball Sees Transfers Karmani Gregory and Brit Harris Join for the 2024-25 Season

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – As the USC Upstate men's basketball program builds towards the first season under the direction of head coach Marty Richter, a pair of transfers join the Spartan program as Karmani Gregory and Brit Harris continue their academic and athletic careers as part of Richter's inaugural recruiting class.

Transfers to USC Upstate after spending his freshman and redshirt freshman seasons (2022-23 and 2023-24) at Florida SouthWestern … As a redshirt freshman, appeared in 20 games, making nine starts … Averaged 9.3 points and 1.6 rebounds over an average of 23.3 minutes per game … Shot 44.3 percent (70-of-158) from the field, 35.9 percent (28-of-78) from beyond the arc, and 72.0 percent (18-of-25) from the free throw line … Corralled 31 rebounds comprised of seven offensive boards and 24 defensive boards … Totaled 53 assists and 15 steals on the season … Poured in a career-high 23 points behind a 9-of-14 shooting performance versus Indian River State College on 3/2/24 … Pulled in a career-high four rebounds versus Albany Technical College on 1/3/24 … Passed out a career-high five assists on five occasions: versus Salt Lake on 11/17/23; versus Indian River State College on 1/31/24; versus Polk State College on 2/17/24; versus St. Petersburg College on 2/21/24; and versus Miami Dade College on 2/28/24 … Recorded nine double-figure scoring games, including two scoring 20-plus points … As a freshman, did not appear in any games, taking a redshirt … Attended Southeast High School (Bradenton, Fla.) … Named Herald Tribune Player of the Year, Florida Athletic Coaches Association 16 Player of the Year, and Second Team All State in 2021-22 … Averaged 19.9 points and 3.2 assists per game as a senior … Averaged 19.1 points per game as a junior … Competed for Southeast Elite on the AAU circuit.
