SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Heading out for the team's longest road trip of the Big South Conference slate thus far, USC Upstate women's basketball travels to the New River Valley Saturday for a matinee meeting with Radford. The Spartans enter the series' latest matchup having seen the regular season series split each of the past three seasons as Upstate looks for its first win in Radford since 2022.

Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Returning to the lineup for the Spartans, senior forward Rebekah Gordon paced the Spartans with a team-best 13 points versus Presbyterian. The team's leading scorer on the year, finished her return contest shooting an efficient 6-of-10 from the field while adding four rebounds and a steal. On the year, she leads Upstate in scoring and rebounding, averaging 10.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
 
Radford: Averaging 18.0 points after posting back-to-back games scoring 15 or more points to begin league play, graduate student guard Makayla Firebaugh leads the Big South in scoring during conference play. She's scored 21 and 15 points against High Point and Winthrop, respectively, as she averages 35.0 minutes per game in league play.
