Event Preview
 Hosted by Longwood University, USC Upstate men's and women's cross country head to Farmville for the Big South Championship. The men have had three top-ten team finishes this season, with the women having two top-ten team finishes.

Leading the way on the women's team all season has been Jordan Thornton. Posting sub-20-minute times in every race, she set a PR at the Queen City Invite with a time of 18:07. Thornton closed out the regular season with a top-15 finish at the Upstate Invite. Another top runner for the women has been Grace Glassmeyer. She finished the regular season with a PR of 18:56.

For the men, Sam Shimanskiy has been one of the top runners all season long. Shimanskiy put up a PR of 25:03 in the SWAGS Louisville Cross Country Classic, a time that ranks him second all-time in school history. Ian Kelbert has been another top runner for the men's team, setting a PR of 25:28 this season.
