SPARTANBURG, S.C.  – In the last meet of the regular season, USC Upstate hosted the Upstate Invite Saturday morning. The men's team placed sixth and the women's team placed 11^th.

In the men's 8k race, Sam Shimanskiy once again led the way, placing 20th with a time of 25:06.5. Ian Kelbert was the second Spartan to cross the finish line, setting a new PR with his time of 25:28.4.
