SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Competing in a multi-team event for the third straight season, USC Upstate women's basketball is back on the road for a pair of games at the Morehead State MTE against Marshall and Morehead State. The Spartans and Thundering Herd meet for the second time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.) Friday at noon before the Spartans meet the Eagles for the sixth time in the era Saturday at noon ET.

USC Upstate: Pouring in a career-high 26 points Monday, redshirt junior guard
Aubrie Kierscht shot 61.5 percent (8-of-13) from the field and 60.0 percent (6-of-10) from three in the Spartans' win over South Carolina State. Knocking down six three-pointers, she's netted 15 treys this season, leading the Big South and ranking 17
th in the NCAA in the category. For the season, she averages 10.8 points per game while shooting 44.7 percent (17-of-38) from the field and 50.0 percent (15-of-30) from beyond the arc.
Marshall: Leading a Thundering Herd defense ranked in the top-10 nationally in generating steals, senior guard Timaya Lewis-Eutsey leads the Sun Belt with 20 total steals at an average of 4.0 steals per game, ranking ninth and 13
th in the NCAA, respectively. Averaging 11.2 points per game, she stands as Marshall's leading scorer entering the weekend, shooting 38.5 percent (20-of-52) from the floor.
Morehead State: Pacing the Eagle's offense, senior guard Maria Sepp leads the club in both scoring and total assists, averaging 14.0 points per contest while dishing 20 assists. She shoots 41.3 percent (19-of-46) from the field and 22.2 percent (4-of-18) from three this season, chipping in 3.5 rebounds per game and two steals.
