FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – Wrapping up the fall season, USC Upstate men's golf competed in the Fripp Island Intercollegiate.
Leading the way was
Jackson Stone, finishing the tournament tied for fifth at one over par. Stone posted scores of 71-72-71 for a total of 214, highlighted by nine birdies and one eagle.
Alec Prentice was second on the scorecard for the Spartans, finishing with a score of 222, shooting 74 across all three rounds to place in the top-25.
For the Upstate B team,
Nate Heller led the Spartans with an impressive third round of 69. Finishing the tournament in the top-25, Heller had 10 birdies across all three rounds.
Herman Holst was the other Spartan to secure a top-25 finish, posting scores of 70-73-79 for 222. Holst had eight birdies total.

The Spartans will take time off, resuming the spring season on February 1
st at the Sea Best Invitational.
