Men's Golf Heads to Sunshine State for Seminole Intercollegiate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –  For the third tournament this spring, USC Upstate men's golf returns to the Sunshine State for the Seminole Intercollegiate held March 15-17.

Golfers to Watch:
Earning his first Big South Weekly Award last week, Alec Prentice is first in the Spartan lineup. Prentice finished the Golden Nugget Invitational tied for fifth with a nine under score of 207.
Phuthanate Kangwol also enters the tournament after earning Big South Freshman of the Week honors following his performance at the Golden Nugget Invitational. Kangwol carded a complete score of 216, going 73-73-70 to finish even with par.

About the Course:
Seminole Legacy Golf Club is located on the campus of Florida State University and is home to both the FSU men's and women's golf teams. The course recently underwent renovations led by Nicklaus Design, and stretches out 7,8000 yards from the back tees. The elevation can change up to 50 feet, with the course highlighted by 100-year old live oak trees and pine trees.
