SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Returning home for the first time during the 2025-26 season, USC Upstate women's basketball is back inside the G.B. Hodge Center Thursday evening, hosting Erskine, a former NAIA District Six foe, for the first time in the Spartans' Division I era (2007-pres.). Thursday's meeting marks the first between the Spartans and Flying Fleet since Feb. 9, 1989—Upstate moved to the NCAA in 1990—and marks the 15
th all-time meeting between the clubs.

USC Upstate: Returning after missing much of last season due to injury, redshirt junior guard
Aubrie Kierscht was one of two Spartan leading scorers Monday at Clemson, dropping six points behind a pair of threes in 19 minutes of action. Shooting 50.0 percent from three against the Tigers, she upped her three-point field goal percentage in an Upstate uniform to 48.4 percent, nailing 14 of her 29 triple attempts as a Spartan. For her career, Kierscht shoots 38.0 percent from distance, making 87 total three-pointers.
Erskine: The leading returning scorer for the Flying Fleet, senior guard Albany Wilson averaged 13.1 points per game a season ago, the lone player to average in double-figures for Erskine. Twenty-one times she scored in double-figures, five times scoring 20 or more points, including a season-best 24 markers against North Greenville on Feb. 8. Wilson enters Thursday's contest scoring in double-figures in seven straight contests.
