Players to Watch
USC Upstate: Upstate Men's Soccer will see 30+ newcomers on the roster for the 2025 season with three returners from the 2024 campaign. For the Spartans' new faces, this will be a perfect opportunity to see where they manage within the system of Michael Antoniewicz. The Spartans will have the perfect test against the four-time NCAA National Champions as both teams take the pitch on Tuesday.
Clemson: The Sophomore Forward, Wahabu Musah returns to the Tigers after appearing in 21 games, starting in 15 while adding six goals scored, four assists, and a .381 shot on goal percentage.
Up next for the Spartans
The busy week will continue as Upstate travels to Conway, South Carolina for their second and final exhibition at Coastal Carolina on Friday, August 15th at 6:00 P.M. Wrapping up exhibition play, the Spartans will begin to turn their focus to their official season opener against Georgia State on Thursday, August 21st at the County University Soccer Stadium at 7:00 P.M. EST.
