Spartan Nation — Welcome Back!

Summer flew by in a flash, and while campus was quiet, we’ve been busy preparing for an exciting year ahead. Now that our student-athletes are back on campus, you can feel the energy instantly. Their passion and commitment remind us why this community is so special, and we can’t wait to share another season of Spartan athletics with you.

Thank you for pardoning our dust this summer... We’ve made several facility upgrades this summer, all designed to elevate the experience for our student-athletes and coaches.

• Hodge Center Court – A fresh playing surface featuring our bold, new Spartan Head athletic mark. Read more about the logo here.
• Weight Room Floor & Lights – Enhancements that give our student-athletes the best environment to train, compete, and grow stronger.
• Team Buses – You’ll see our Spartan Head logo rolling across the Upstate and beyond. These buses aren’t just a mode of transportation; they’re a moving billboard for the pride and marketability of our programs. Be sure to give a wave (or honk) when you spot one!
• Student-Athlete Academic Center – Opening this fall as part of the new library addition, this space will help us double down on what matters most — academic success. It’s a resource designed to support every Spartan on their journey, in competition and in the classroom.

We have a lot of momentum going into this 2025-2026 athletic season. We reached new heights last year, from championships to graduation. The standard has been set and we now expect to succeed it.

We have our home openers this weekend! Women’s Soccer hosts Queens University on Sunday at 6 PM, and Women’s Volleyball welcomes Queens on Wednesday at 6 PM in the Hodge. Come check out the brand-new court in person at volleyball!

To our fans, donors, and season ticket holders — thank you. Your support fuels everything we do. We’re excited to have you along for the journey this season, and we can’t wait to see you in the stands, on the road, and around campus.
