Rock Hill, S.C. – The USC Upstate track and field team collected six All-Conference honors, highlighted by four individual champions, this week at the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Winthrop at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Complex.

The USC Upstate men's team finished in fifth place with 86 points while the women placed seventh with 47 points.

Hampton won both the men's and women's Big South Track & Field Championships.

Notables

• Adanma Uzor and Angelnique Bryant both recorded individual championships as Uzor won in the triple jump and Bryant the 100-meter dash.
• The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Jared Henderson, Antoine Nance, Javin Holston and Cameron Smith won with a school record time of 40.55.
• Bryant set both a Big South and USC Upstate record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.41. The previous Big South record was set back in 2012.
• Tony Auguste won the men's hammer throw competition with his mark of 55.68 meters.
• Bryant also earned Third Team All-Conference honors in the 200-meter dash.
• Nance crossed the finish line in second place in the 100-meter dash to receive Second Team All-Conference accolades.
• Tanner Saunders was also named Second Team All-Conference in the 400-meter hurdles as his time of 51.82 is second all-time at USC Upstate.
• Mikenzie Young-Mullins recorded 4,329 points in the women's heptathlon and ranks her second all-time at USC Upstate.
• The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Jasmine Brown, Dejaionne Kinard, Shamia Thompson and De'avion Nesbitt turned in a season-best time of 4:03.00.
