Series History
This is the 13th all-time meeting between UNC Asheville and USC Upstate. The Bulldogs hold a 7-5 advantage overall in the series and they have won the past five meetings (longest winning streak for either side in the series). UNC Asheville swept the season series last season and USC Upstate will be looking for their first win in the series since the 2014-15 season.
Last time these two teams met inside the G.B. Hodge Center it was UNC Asheville who walked away with a 93-86 overtime victory over USC Upstate. A trio of Spartans ended the game in double figures,

UNC Asheville – The Bulldogs are coming off a 60-52 home win over Campbell on Saturday afternoon. A trio of Bulldogs finished the game in double figures, Nadiria Evans (20), Sonora Dengokl (14) and Amaryah Corpening (12). UNC Asheville has yet to win a road conference game this season.

UPSTATE – Lewis currently leads the Spartans in both points per game (13.5) and assists per game (5.1).
Riley Popplewell is averaging 6.6 rebounds per game and Herring is averaging just over a block per contest.
UNC Asheville – Evans currently leads the team in both points per game (13.1), assists (20) and steals (18). Dengokl is second on the team in points per game (11.0), while Brooke Jordan-Brown leads the team in rebounds (106) and is tied for the team lead in blocked shots with 8.
