Women’s Tennis Totters against Georgia Southern

STATESBORO, Ga. – The USC Upstate women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon at the Wallis Tennis Center.
 
USC Upstate (0-5) lost the doubles point as they fell on every court in doubles action. In singles action the Spartans fell behind after losing the opening set on every court. Gabriela Cevallos took the second set 7-5 at court No. 3. Morgan Valentine came close in both sets but fell 7-5 in both. Cevallos eventually fell in the third set to give the Eagles the sweep over the Spartans.
 
The USC Upstate women's tennis team will be back in action on Saturday, February 15 against North Alabama in a neutral site match in Troy, Ala.
