BOWLING GREEN, Fla. – Hitting the course for the first time this season, USC Upstate men's golf put forth the program's lowest 54-hole team total since October 14-15, 2019, as all six Spartan golfers competing at the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational fired career-low 54-hole totals as play concluded Monday afternoon.
 
Carding rounds of 294-287-284-865, the Spartans posted the program's lowest 54-hole team total since firing an 861 at the Autotrader Collegiate Classic on Oct. 14-15, 2019, and closed the event with the team's lowest 18-hole team total (284) since last season's opener. Upstate's final round saw no player in the starting lineup shoot lower than a 74 with none of the four counting scores exceeding a 72 (E).
 
Leading Upstate, senior Brady Hinkle marked down a pair of sub-70 rounds, an opening-round 69 and a second-round 68—tied for his lowest career round—wrapping the event with totals of 69-68-72-209, tying for 28^th. His tournament total of 209 gives him a career-low 54-hole total for the second straight event, besting his 211 from last season's Big South Championship.
 
Making his collegiate debut, freshman Christophe Palmans (77-71-71-219) used back-to-back 71s to jump up the leaderboard, tying for 55^th, sharing the spot with junior Panop Norasing (76-74-69-219) to round out the top-three performers for the Spartans. Norasing's final-round 69 marked the first sub-70 round of his collegiate career and is a career-low round.

Notable

• Leading to his career-low 54-hole total, Brady Hinkle finished 11^th in the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational field in Par-4 Scoring, finishing six-under on the Streamsong Resort's Blue Course's 10 Par-4s. Throughout the event, he carded an average score of 3.80 on Par-4s.
• Finishing the 338-yard, Par-4 first hole in two strokes in round three at the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational, Barrett Josey carded his first career eagle Tuesday—one of 15 eagles at the event.
• Marking down six birdies in round one, four in round two, and five in round three, Panop Norasing tied for 15^th in the tournament field in total birdies.
• In his first collegiate event, Christophe Palmans tied for sixth in the tournament field with 38 pars over three rounds at the Allstate/Streamsong Invitational. Teammate Barrett Josey carded 36 pars, tying for 13^th in the field in the category.
