SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Head Coach Todd Lawton has announced the full 2025-2026 schedule. Fresh off a Big South Championship, the Spartans will host two back-to-back tournaments in the fall.

"Our schedule is a good mix of annual events and new ones with high-level competition. Hosting twice in the fall is a lot of work, but worth it because it gives us an opportunity to play a lot of players and see what we are capable of competitively. No doubt, a highlight is the spring trip to play at Florida State. We will see multiple top-25 teams along the way and be challenged by different locations as well as coastal and mountain courses.  Our new team van will give us the opportunity to travel in style while allowing our players to get plenty of schoolwork done on the road.  So thankful for the support our program receives."
 
Kicking off the fall season is the Golfweek Invitational, held September 7-9 at True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C. Last season, the Spartans finished ninth in the tournament that featured top competition.

The Spartans then make the trip to Oneota, Alabama for the GMAC Invitational, hosted by UAB. The tournament is September 22-23 at Limestone Springs Golf Club. Last season, Jackson Stone made history at this tournament, finishing in eighth place with a total score of 206, tied for third-best in program history.

Upstate hosts The Carolina Cup September 28-30 at The Carolina Country Club.

Closing the fall campaign is the Fripp Island Intercollegiate, hosted by the Spartans at Ocean Creek Golf Course from November 1-3. Last season, Upstate took the tournament title, finishing with rounds 281-276-294-851. Alec Prentice finished tied for first at seven under par, shooting a school record 63 in the second round.

Opening the spring season, the Spartans travel to Florida for the Sea Best Invitational, February 2-3, hosted by Jacksonville University at Atlantic Beach Country Club.

In March, Upstate competes in two tournaments, starting with the Golden Nugget Invitational on the 2-3 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Returning to Florida, the Spartans compete in the Seminole Intercollegiate March 15-17, hosted by Florida State at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.

Beginning in April, Upstate returns to Pawleys Island for the Golfweek Spring Challenge the 6th-8th. The Spartans close out the spring season at the Wofford Invitational April 12-14, hosted by Wofford College at Country Club of Spartanburg.

The Big South Championship will be held April 26-29 at Fripp Island, where the Spartans look to defend their title.
