Upstate Takes a Quick Drive to Clinton to Play Presbyterian on Wednesday Afternoon

Series History 
USC Upstate and Presbyterian have competed 14 times since their original meeting back in 2008 when the Spartans won 63-55 in Clinton for the first time. The two teams are tied in the overall series 7-7 with the Spartans trailing 5-3 at home and leading 4-2 on the road. Most recently, Upstate secured back-to-back wins in the 2021-2022 season with 68-66 win at home and an 80-67 win on the road.

Players to Watch 
Upstate: Trinity Johnson surpassed 1,000 career points during Saturday afternoon's game against Longwood University. Johnson scored nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and one block. AC Markham led the Spartans against the Lancers and earned her second double-double of the season in the process, with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Rebekah Gordon also scored in double figures with 12 points which was the sixth time she has done that this season.  

Upstate continues to run the lineup of Isabella Geraci, Talia RoldanTrinity Johnson, Jeni Levine, and AC Markham. Geraci and Markham are the only two Spartans to start all 16 contests so far for the Spartans. Geraci leads the team for minutes played (524), points (165), three pointers (19), rebounds (117), and steals (28). 

Presbyterian: Laila Grant had her best game of the season so far, posting 20 points against the Panthers of High Point University. Grant accompanied the season-high 20 points with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Nuria Cunill (17), Aubrie Kierscht (14), Bryanna Brady (12), and Tilda Sjokvist (10) also scored in double-figures as well.
